Back to school...

Paige started her second year of preschool. She's loving it, despite her brief hesitation {she kept saying she didn't want to go back to school, because she would miss me and Brayden too much *how sweet*}. She is learning lots of new things and it's great for her to have something to do that's just for her a few days a week. AND she doesn't seem to miss us much after all...it's quite the opposite, Brayden misses her like crazy when she's not here.
First day of school outfit or as Paige calls them....."School Clothes".

Mrs Leslie, here teacher.
She's super excited to make new friends and to learn lots of new stuff. She asked me a couple times if she was going back to Mrs Leslie's and I said yes then she said "but I already learned everything she knows"{she had her last year}....funny stuff!!! So I had to tell her she would be meeting lots of new friends, and that was enough to convince her to go.
She still takes my breath away....isn't she beautiful?!?!?
This is Paige on "silly hat day"...she's wearing Brian's boating hat. She gets a kick out of the themed days. It's some times a lot of work for mommy, trying to remember when and what she needs....but it's all worth it.

Playing catch up...

Ok so tons of things have happened over the last few months that haven't been blogged about so I'll try to get caught up.

What a fun PARTY!!!

Here's the picture's I promised....

We had a bounce house {thank you Carolyn}. The kids loved it, especially Brayden.

We opened presents....and some of you might be thinking that we do things in an ODD order, but Brayden just started opening presents~ so we went with it. He got a lot of really fun things, thanks everyone!!! Then we had cake...this is before the "Monster" demolished it.

And those are the results after digging in. He loved it as you can tell, but he was ready to be done...so we stuck him in the sink for a bath. Paige helped Bobo (Brian's mom) to clean him up. And to finish off the festivities we did a pinata... So thanks to our friends and family that came out to wish our little guy a Happy 1st Birthday...it was a blast!!!

Brayden is ONE!!!

Our baby is ONE already...can you believe it? We have loved every moment that we've had him in our family. {Some moments have been a LOT more challenging than others, but we've still loved having him!!}. He says and does the cutest things...He says the common things like Momma, Dadda, ball...the cutest though is when he says BOO!!! He signs "food", "please", "more", "thank you", "hat", "ball", "wash hands" and his favorite is "doggy". He also blows kisses...and if you say "it's hot, blow on it" he does - blow on it. It's so cute! He loves the dog, Baby Signing Time, Grizzly {our dog}, Paige, balls, he also CLIMBS on EVERYTHING...this kid has no fear and is determined to give his mommy a heart attack. He's been walking for a few weeks now, and is so proud of him self. He has his one year well baby check up on Friday...so I'll give you the stats then. Until then here are some wonderful pictures of my growing boy!!! We are having his birthday party tomorrow so I won't have any messy -covered in cake -baby face pictures for you until after tomorrow.
