Christmas Lights and Temple Square!!!

Yeah it's Christmas time....what a wonderful time of year! ;) Brian got the Christmas lights up before it snowed AND we were able to take a trip downtown to see the lights at Temple Square!

What a super trooper, he gets the lights up before the first of December every year.I love the temple in December especially!
Look at my little snow bunny...what a doll!
Paige was SO excited she was skipping, she had other people just laughing at her and enjoying her excitement...that's exactly why we do this every year, she just loves it!
This year they had fun nativities up from different cultures...very cute!
Paige would say, "look how beautiful" to all the different lights...one of her favorites was the trees decorated in "pink" lights.
Here's Paige playing with her "cold, wet leaf".
And who would have thought the flowers would still be blooming during Christmas time?!?!
And of course the reason for the season. We love to go in and see this statue of Christ, every year it is a wonderful teaching moment for the kids. We hope that you remember Christ this Christmas and that you are able to spend it with the ones you hold dear. Thank you for being in our lives...we love you!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We hope you all enjoyed Thankgiving and were able to spend it with the ones you love!!!
These were the pumpkins we accumulated over the last couple of months....crazyness, I know.
Paige made some really fun crafts at preschool...her scarecrow and pilgrim hat. Her thankful feathers read that she's thankful for: cousins, mom, dad, brother, home, friends, grandpa's, grandma's, and food.
We are thankful for her and the joy she brings into our lives EVERY moment of EVERY day!!! We are also thankful for Brayden....he is histerical! He's at a really fun age, and is very mischevious, yet very lovey. We have the best kids ever!!!
Thank you to each of you for being in our lives as well, you really mean a lot to us!!! We hope your thanksgiving was filled with thanks, love and laughter!!! {and of course yummy food!}

Can't forget the Elephant Parade...

I braved the crowds and took the kids downtown to see the Elephant Parade while the Circus was in town, they LOVED it!
You can't tell in this picture but all of the police officers were wearing clown noses...Paige got a kick out of that.

The kids loved the parade so much, we ran and saw it again as it came around the other corner. They loved getting the balloon animals, cotton candy, magic show and face painting. It was crazy busy, but still a really fun FREE event. I'm sure we will be there next time as well...hope you'll join us!

Good Things Utah....

Back in September I was on GTU with my friends from the SaltLakeCityMommies.com of which I'm currently the Promotions Manager. It was a lot of fun, due to some technical difficulties that took me off gaurd I got quite nervous, but it was still a LOT of fun. Everyone was really sweet and very supportive. Here are some of the pictures!
Me with the GTU Gals...Jen {the site admin} and me once again with the GTU gals.
And then the picture of ALL of us. We had such a great turn out of fellow mommies that came to be in the audience and to show us their support!!! What a great group of women! If you haven't checked them out...you so totally should!

Halloween 2008

Whoa, what a month....we had a LOT of fun things going on, and loved it all. Paige decided she wanted to be Tinkerbell and since Brayden LOVES doggies we had him be a puppy. They were both SO dang cute, and we got a ton of use out of their costumes. We had the ward party, the Trunk or Treat with SaltLakeCityMommies.com, Halloween parties with the grandparents, preschool party, pumpkin carving, pumpkin painting, haunted house making and of course Trick or Treating. Here are all the pictures of our very busy yet very fun month!!!
Paige with her preschool teacher Ms. Leslie.Pumpkin carving, Paige loved it....Brayden, well not so much.
I was down switching the laundry when I came up stairs to find my sneaky little devil having the time of his life digging into his sisters candy. It really is too bad that he STILL only has TWO teeth.
Halloween party with the cousins...
The puppy in the doggy bed...he really climbed in there all on his own. It was so funny.
The Trunk or Treat: The kids participated in the costume parade, as well as scoring some great loot!
The ward party was a blast, lots of games, food, pumpkin painting. Paige and Emma were so cute they were connected at the hip...they held hands and played together the whole time, it was really cute.
Haunted House making....
The WITCHES at Gardner Villiage....Paige LOVED them, here are a few pictures of her favorites. She especially liked the REAL witches...and both of the kids enjoyed the yummy treats and riding the pony's.
AND finally Trick or Treating...Paige LOVED it, she went for 3 hours. She still talks about it and wants to go again. Brayden lasted around the block then was content to stay home with dad. Brian didn't feel well so he got stuck with candy duty, which is too bad because Paige was hilarious trying to eat the donut from the string.
As much fun as it was, I'm REALLY glad that it's over. Now on to the next Holidays....I can't wait!!! Thanks for enduring all the pictures {I'm a picture girl, what can I say}.
