Here we are waiting in line trying to find as much shade as possible - it was VERY scarce.
Paige had fun hanging out, messing around with the rocks and kicking the dirt and spinning in circles around the trees.

Oh and we did get a chance to check out the lavatories on board, thanks to Paige...she's always gotta go. So in case you were wondering - they do have potty's on board, but watch out the toilet spits when flushed. ;)
So "free rides day" ....really means - a LONG wait, weird people and sunburns {I'm the only one that got sunburned though- go figure}. But the kids had fun so it was worth it....it helped kill time and wore the kids out AND we still made it home in time to watch the Jazz game so Brian was happy.

Fun. When we were driving to Salt Lake last night we were wondering how many stops the train makes. What a fun family activity!

Glad to hear that you guys had fun. That is how my sister-in-law will be commuting to SLC every day. We need to try it out. We love going downtown on TRAX, Aimee especially.
