We LOVE Bear Lake!!!

We were able to escape up to Bear Lake a couple of weekends this summer with some friends of ours Wendy and Mike - Wendy's family has a cabin up there. We had SO much fun playing at the beach, boating / tubing, eating great food The BIG Ephraim pizza and Raspberry sundaes were the best!!! {Brayden ate a lot of dirt, but had a blast doing it} and of course just hanging out having a good time. Here are the pictures from our trips. ;)

Brian is 30!!!!

Brian turned the big 30 on Sunday August 10th 2008....So here are 30 random pictures of him along with 30 reasons why we love him so much!!!

30 Reasons why we love him so much...

1. He is an amazing husband!

2. He is a WONDERFUL daddy!

3. He is such a hard worker, and has an incredible work ethic!

4. He reads endless stories to the kids!

5. He sleeps out on the trampoline with Paige, and most of the time it's his idea to do it.

6. He can easily be persuaded with a "kiss on both cheeks and a huge hug".

7. He does the dishes!

8. He folds and puts away {most of} the laundry, even though he thinks he's getting hosed in the deal. ;)

9. He mow's the lawn.

10. He shovels the snow off of the driveway!

11. He plays in the snow with the kids, even if it's FREEZING outside!

12. He takes out the garbage.

13. He changes diapers!

14. He takes showers with the kids, so I can have a break.

15. He reads from the special book {Book of Mormon} each night with Paige.

16. He wrestles endlessly with the kids.

17. He brings me flowers!

18. He lets me watch chick flicks and will watch them with me.

19. He paints the kids bedrooms, along with bead board {and that wasn't an easy task}.

20. He thinks I'm beautiful, even when I'm BIG and pregnant.

21. He looks tough, but is the sweetest guy you'd ever meet.

22. He loves the gospel, and LOVES to tell stories from his mission if asked about it.

23. He insists that I shave his head...even if it looks terrible. {you should have seen the intentional racing stripes from last time ;) }.

24. He lets Paige shave his back.

25. He is VERY easily hypnotized...he's been Madonna and Mr. Rogers before.

26. He loves the NY JETS....rain or shine, he is still a fan!

27. He loves BYU, and can be found yelling at the tv if they are losing.

28. He is very loyal, caring, gracious, and kind.

29. His underbelly is WHOOT WOO!!!{inside joke}

30. He has the best personality, very laid back and easy going...and LOVES to have fun!!!

Happy Birthday Big B, we love you!!!!!

Brayden's first hair cut....

My sweet boy just got his first hair cut, his hair was having a "party" as Paige puts it...so we had to help him out. Look how long and whispy it had gotten....is he really old enough for a hair cut?!? Brian and I thought we would be brave and attempt to do it ourselves...we even gave him tons of snacks as a distraction. Well as you can see in the pictures, it's a LOT harder than we anticipated - and his hair ended up a LOT shorter as the result. Oh well what do ya do about it? He still looks darling, just a little more grown up. :(

Well here he is sportin his stylin new cut! What a handsome little man!!!
