Some of my simple pleasures are watching my kids enjoy life! My kids are growing up so fast, I'm just trying to soak it all in.
Paige LOVES anything and everything GIRL!!! She loves, loves, loves to play dress up and wear makeup. So here are a few pictures of her all done up! Blue eye shadow is SO in this season!
The more bling the better.
OH and did I mention if it's my makeup then that's better than anything!
Brayden on the other hand is growing up WAY too fast. He's now content for a little while in his exersaucer. He likes to be able to play and keep an eye on his sister at the same time.
He got the bumbo seat from Papa and Bobo for Christmas, it's fabulous for having something that helps them sit up when they can't on their own. Thanks Papa and Bobo!
Now for the real trouble...Brayden has started sucking his thumb, I've tried my darndest over the last 3 months just to get him to take a binky and he finally was...until now. I just went to check on him and saw this. That's just fabulous...now what?!!? Brian thinks it's great {because he use to suck his thumb}...I doubt he will be thinking so in a few years when we are trying to break him of the habit. Until then though, we will just think it's adorable....and not dread the future battles.

It is so fun to see them play "dress-up". Brooke loves to put on her princess dress everyday. What is hilarious is seeing Kaden in her other blue cinderella dress. It cracks me up. But she wants him to play with her...what is a mother to do?! As for the thumb sucking--both Kaden and Carter suck their thumbs and I like it because it definitely is nice when they can calm themselves without the binky.
My kids know that I turn into "monster mom" when they get into my makeup, and it's not the fun game my mom used to play with me. lol!
Braden is so sweet sucking his thumb. I wouldn't worry to much about it, in fact I would celebrate. He's able to self-soothe himself now. That's quite an accomplishment for a baby. All of my kids sucked their thumbs and grew out of it by the time they turned 1. There's hope!
I gotta stay in style so I will be digging out the blue eyeshadow - thanks Paige!
Ehh, thumb sucking is cute, just remind brian there can be no complaints about it resulting in copious future dental bills!;)

I also love that seat!! I want one, Ive never seen anything like that! Its brilliant haha! Although by the time I got it Gage would probably be sitting up. Thats great though! Gage too has found his thumb! I would worry, but Weston did it for just a little while and dropped the habit.. so there is hope! I too hope he drops it as well within a few months!

Heidi, those kids are so cute! I am sure Paige just looks at her beautiful mommy and wants to look just like her. They are such a good combination of you and Brian - adorable! Love ya!

Very cute! I love Paige's makeup. There's nothing better than getting all dolled up. Hopefully Braden will grow out of the thumb sucking. I think both of mine did that for a while.
