As for Me... I'll be taking a nap. ;)

Paige is getting ready for her "wedding"....

Paige says "Mommy, I want to get ready for my wedding"....so she gets dressed up and is in the bathroom doing her makeup and hair.
Doesn't she look beautiful?!??!?
She is the most beautiful little bride-to-be that I've ever seen.
Daddy thinks so too...so he makes sure to give her lots of kisses and hugs.
Paige says that when she gets big she's going to marry her daddy. Which at this point we love that answer, her daddy is flattered and her mom thinks she has great taste. Of course at this point in her life her daddy loves her more than any other male out there.
And since she's only three and can't even start dating until she's thirty we've taught her that boys have cooties, so now whenever she see's anyone being lovey-dovey she says "eewww gross, boys have cooties". Between that and the dirty looks that her daddy taught her to give when she was 6 months old, I think the boys will stay away... at least for now.

My Sweet, Sweet, Grandpa, Arthur Eugene Memmott July 10, 1926 - November 9, 2007

This is my mom and her dad at his 80th birthday party.
My Aunts Bonny and Susie with Grandpa at the same birthday party.
Doesn't he look awesome for being 80?!?!?!?
Paige kissing "Grandpa Grape" as she called him.
Me kissing Grandpa...gotta love the whisker kisses!!!
What a jokester!
It is with a heavy heart that I post this blog.... My sweet, sweet, sweet, funny, charming, loving, hillarious grandpa just passed away on Friday. It's been really hard on our family because we love him so much, I grew up being a grandpa's girl. He is my hero! I love him with all of my heart and will miss him greatly. A few memories of grandpa are that he was always a truck driver, he absolutely loved it....so whenever he was on the road and I passed a semi-truck I would kink my neck as we drove past just to see if maybe he was the one driving it. We would always go out to his house and hang out with him and his cats, he loved cats - which is funny because my mom is scared to death of them - kindof ironic since she was raised around them. My grandpa always told me about when I was a todler about 2 I was really sick and in the hospital and he came to see me and I wouldn't let anyone else hold me but him. As he got older when we would visit he would have the tv up so loud that we couldn't even hear ourselves think....and we would have to yell so that he could hear us talk to him, rather than turn the tv down....we found that humorous. One of my favorite memories is that he always greeted us with a smile, a big hug and a prickily whisker kiss....and we would get the same thing as we were leaving along with his famous " take care, be careful and I love you". Which is of course what I will miss the most, especially the whisker kisses!!! He was always so caring, understanding and supportive no matter what. I love you with all my heart grandpa.....this grandpa's girl is lost without you! Take care of yourself, I will see you soon....oh and please give some hugs and kisses to grandma and Rocky for us! I love you, I love you, I LOVE YOU!

"Brayden Bear"...growing up so fast!

It's amazing how you can continue to love someone more and more every day.....especially when you love them more than you thought possible to begin with. Our little Brayden is such a sweety and we can't believe he's almost 6 weeks old already. We love every little thing about him... Check out those eyes...and that itty-bitty tongue

His fingers

And piggies....
Everything about him is just so precious!
Even if he only likes to sleep in his swing with the vacuum going.....and cries most of the time. They are only little for such a short time....I'm doing my best to enjoy every minute of it. As hard as it can be sometimes before we know it they are all grown up and we wonder where the time went. So even though it's hard right now trying to figure out what we can do to help him be content....we will just have to give him lots of loves and kisses.

This is a sandwich kiss from Daddy and Boogie...

And some extra kisses from Mommy!!!
As you probably caught from what I wrote before, Brayden has colic or so we think. He cries a LOT and only likes to sleep in his swing with the vaccuum going. We've tried everything else....the hair dryer, the humidifier, a box fan, the recorded version of the vaccuum and even some other cd's with white noise...like the ocean waves and nothing seems to work better than the vaccuum. So Brian and I have gotten acustome to sleeping to the vaccuum as well. :) In the mean time my house is a wreck, but my kids are alive and I haven't totally lost my sanity....so things are good! We will get through this, I may have grey hair and wrinkles but we will get through this. Anyone got some great tips??? We are willing to try anything...oh and we have also tried the gas drops and the gripe water. So in the mean time we are adjusting to our new definition of normalcy around here. ;)

She claims to swim like Ariel...now she has the fin to prove it.

Paige loves it when Brian spikes up her hair when he's washing it. Her new thing is to alternate between taking a shower and taking a bath....she can't decide what she likes more these days.

Happy Halloween from our Castle to yours!

BEAUTY and "THE BEAST"

Paige as Belle....
She knows she's beautiful!

She abosutely loved getting her makeup done....she really is a princess!

Brayden wasn't too fond of being dressed up...

He was a good sport though for about a minute.

What a sweet "BEAST" !

Beauty and "The BEAST".....Paige was Belle and wanted Brayden to be "the Beast". Isn't he the cutest little beast you've ever seen? Paige loved Halloween, she had a party at preschool then we went and showed off Paiges costume to Grandma Coo-Coo and Bobo. Then we came home and Brian took her trick or treating for an hour, they only came home because she had to go potty. Then she said..."I want to go out again", so we took her out again for about another hour. We only came home bcuz we (Brian and I) were done, she would have gone all night. We had a really crazy, hectic, busy month starting out with having a new baby and then all the Halloween stuff. I can't wait until next year when we can do even more of the fun fall/Halloween festivities....Paige just loved every bit of what we were able to do and made it more enjoyable for us too. We hope you all had a very fun and safe Halloween.

Learning to cast spells with Paige and Brian at Gardner Village Witches night.

She abosolutely loved checking out the witches and wanted her picture taken next to all of them, except this one....she wanted to sit next to her but refused to sit too close. It was really funny.

Paige is sizing up the witches....
This witch must have kids....being comfortable with not being able to go to the bathroom without company and all. :)

Paige riding Charly...he's her favorite.

Boo!
Isn't he the scariest looking witch you've ever seen??!?!??! What a good sport, this is what having kids will do to ya.
..... Or one of those yummy caramel apples.

We missed the actual witches night out because of the yucky weather, Paige was so bummed out that we dressed her up and took her on another night with better weather. Lee and Colleen took care of Brayden for us so we could enjoy the night with Paige....thanks Papa and Bobo. Paige absolutely loved it, she rode the pony's twice and wanted to go back through to see all the witches again. She was so cute and we had so much fun!
