I also would like to go on an African Safari, and go to the Bahamas and Mexico. I love to go on vacation, I just don't like to leave my kids, so I would have to take Brian and the kids along! Oh and if the kids are coming then I for sure want to go to Disney World!!!

3. When was the last time you cried? Last week when I was so sick with mastitis and I thought I was going to die...that and the fact that my milk wasn't coming in so I felt like I was starving my baby...that's a pretty good reason I think?!?

Our Sweet Prophet....

President Gordon B. Hinkley...1910-2008
What a sweet man, an amazing prophet, and a great example! I believe he said it best when he said..."I know as surely as anything in this world, that someday I shall die as to the life of this world. But I have an absolute certainty in my heart that I shall go on living and doing good and having the association of my beloved companion..." I can only imagine how miraculous the reunion is for him in heaven!

Thank you for leading our church and for all your service...you will be missed!

Simple pleasures...

Some of my simple pleasures are watching my kids enjoy life! My kids are growing up so fast, I'm just trying to soak it all in.
Paige LOVES anything and everything GIRL!!! She loves, loves, loves to play dress up and wear makeup. So here are a few pictures of her all done up! Blue eye shadow is SO in this season!
The more bling the better.
OH and did I mention if it's my makeup then that's better than anything!
Brayden on the other hand is growing up WAY too fast. He's now content for a little while in his exersaucer. He likes to be able to play and keep an eye on his sister at the same time.
He got the bumbo seat from Papa and Bobo for Christmas, it's fabulous for having something that helps them sit up when they can't on their own. Thanks Papa and Bobo!
Now for the real trouble...Brayden has started sucking his thumb, I've tried my darndest over the last 3 months just to get him to take a binky and he finally was...until now. I just went to check on him and saw this. That's just fabulous...now what?!!? Brian thinks it's great {because he use to suck his thumb}...I doubt he will be thinking so in a few years when we are trying to break him of the habit. Until then though, we will just think it's adorable....and not dread the future battles.

Brayden Rocky Haas...Blessing Day!

On November 25, 2007 Brayden was Blessed by Brian. With all the craziness of the holidays I decided to hold off on the post so that the blessing didn't get over shadowed by all the holiday festivities...because to me this was/is more important!
He has been such a blessing to our family, we absolutely LOVE having him.
It's amazing how they are born with their own little yet very distinct personality!
We have been getting mixed opinions on who he looks like...I vote for me {because he's so dang cute!}
We really appreciate how great of a husband and dad that Brian is to our family! He really does his best to make us happy, and we are really greatful that he honors his priesthood and is able to bless the babies himself.
This two studs are quite the pair...Brian is so excited to have a football watching buddy. {Little does he know, but I think he's going to be a momma's boy}.
Not the best picture of Paige, but Brayden was about to throw a royal fit...in fact after this picture he did, so we were lucky just to get a picture of us all together without him crying. Thanks to all our family that came out and supported us. We love you! Brayden has added such an extra dynamic to our family, we absolutely love him. Paige loves being a big sister, and is such a great little helper...we loved her so much it was hard to fathom loving someone else even close to as much - but what do you know we do!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

This Blog entry is a tribute to my baby brother.....Rocky Blaine Raddon aka Rola! Happy Birthday Bro! I really miss you!

I can't believe it's been 4 years...Rocky was not only my little brother but one of my best friends. Life just isn't the same without him. Thankfully I know that I will see him again, and I really can't wait for the day! So as we celebrate the new year...I'm always prone to think of Rocky and how old he would have been today, the things he would be doing, the trouble he would be causing, the jokes he would be making and the fun we would be having....my heart still hurts, thankfully we still have lots of memories to make us laugh...not to mention his little ones that look just like him. {Madelyn and Colton...in the pictures below are both his babies}. AND because we love and miss him so much we named our baby boy after him too. We miss you Rocky...you are and always will be in our hearts! Happy Birthday!!!

Seasons Greetings....

The Friday before Christmas we went down town to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights, that's one of our favorite things to do.
You would have thought we were going to spend the night in the snow, with how bundled up we all were...but I'm not a real big fan of the cold!
Paige and Mommy...Brayden's in the stroller.
Here's a peak at him under the blanket. He slept through it all, which made it easy on us.
This is Brian showing the kids where Santa was on Christmas Eve...
We got to spend a lot of time with our family on Christmas....Alayna {our neice} share's her birthday with Jesus. Happy 6th Birthday Alayna!
Paige loves hanging out with her cousins! This is Colton and Madelyn...they are sure fun to play with! I'm sure that Colton and Wade can't wait until Brayden is big enough to run around and play.

Aunt Amber, Paige, Colton and Auntie Pie
This is Sydelle, Me, Kencie and Paige....Sydelle and Kencie are 2 of my sisters...auntie Pie is my other sister.
It was Brayden's first Christmas...he wasn't sure what to think of it all, but Paige sure had fun helping him open up his presents.
Here's Paige with her "Pink and Purple camera" that she asked Santa for. Thankfully she was really good and was able to get her special present! Christmas gets to be more and more fun as every year as Paige gets more excited about it, having kids makes Christmas all that more magical! We hope that you all had a great Christmas!

Making Gingerbread Houses at Grandma Coo-Coo's

My mom did gingerbread {gram cracker} houses with all the grandkids...
Paige had a blast, if she could she would have put candy on every square inch of it.The best part is tasting all the yummy candy too. We actually had a harder time keeping Brian from eating all the candy then the little ones....naughty daddy. :)
Brayden and Daddy mostly watched, they helped a little.
The finished product....GOOD job Paige, it's beautiful.
This is what happens when you let the 3 year old hold it on her lap on the way home and daddy has to hit the brakes....
Sorry Paige....she was totally heart broken {as were we}. Poor thing!
